He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie W. Barnes and Clarice Fisher. He is survived by: his daughters, Felicia Morrison of Monroe, NC and Takisha McCarter of Wingate, NC; and his siblings, Johnny Barnes of Lancaster, SC, David Barnes of Lancaster, SC, Darryl Barnes of Lancaster, SC, Perri Grady of Duluth, GA and Gwendolyn Curry of Lancaster, SC. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
