It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Montgomery (Lancaster, South Carolina), who passed away on March 3, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hazel Montgomery and Maggie Barton Montgomery; and his siblings, Ruth Baxley of Lenora Hammond, J. W., Margaret Adams and Charles "Cabbage" Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Marcene Small Montgomery; his son Bart Montgomery (Wayne Carter); his sister-in-law Lenny Montgomery; and his nieces and nephews, Charles "Sparky" Thompson (Pat), Peggy Nagy, Helen Wilkinson (Dick), Huey Hammond (Judy), Mike Adams (Mary Ann), Terri Neal (Hank), John Montgomery (Lisa) and Becky Grubbs (David).
