She was predeceased by: her father Jo Lee Helms; and her sister Deborah Sue Helms. She is survived by: her husband Carson Roy Powers, Sr.; her children, Carson Roy Powers, Jr. (Kimberly Dawn) and Amber Lee Ann Bailey (Shawn Tillman); her mother Myrtle Helms; her grandson Landon Hunter Bailey; and her sisters, Geraldine Gray and Jo Ann Hinson (Dennis).
