Rex Griffin Obituary
We bid farewell to Rex Griffin of Lancaster, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 19, 2025 at the age of 70. Rex touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rance Morrison Griffin and Peggy Laney Griffin; his sisters, Cindi Hayes and Myra Lynn Griffin; his grandparents, Ralph, Nellie Laney, John Oscar and Paris Griffin; his parents-in-law, Erskin and Faye Clifton; and his sister-in-law Linda Clifton Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Emogene Griffin; his son Shannon Allen; his granddaughter Kylee Allen; his siblings, Rhett Griffin (Sandra) and Tammy Barton (Steve); his siblings-in-law, Russell Clifton (Linda Sue), Stan Mehrhoff, Junior Carr, Wilma Stevens (Buckshot), Wanda Mehrhoff and Barbara Ann Kohl; and also Kristy Harrell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spring Hill Baptist Church (2245 State Rd S-29-39, Lancaster, SC 29720). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Spring Hill Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Hwy., Lancaster, SC 29720.
