He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Johnson and Elsie Sellers Smith; and his son Ralph Edward "Eddie" Johnson, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Brian K. Johnson (Jaime) of Oxford, NC; his siblings, Thomas "Gene" Johnson (Pat) of Simpsonville, SC and Dianne Mackey of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Brianna Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Bridget Johnson, Katherine Johnson, Wyatt Johnson and Haley Sims; and his daughter-in-law Lorri Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (2893 Bethel Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
