He is survived by: his wife Janet Presnell Hough; his children, Phillip Benjamin Hough, Jr., Margaret Hough Letson (David) and William Bowen Hough; his grandsons, Jacob Kenneth Williams and Andrew Phillip Williams; and his brother Francis "Mat" Madison Hough.
