He is survived by: his parents, Robert "Bobby" E. Helms and Ray Flynn Helms; his siblings, Luray Johnson (Howard) and Kevin Helms (Stacey); and his nieces and nephews, Valeray Jones (David), Tiffany Mahaffey (Luke), Kayla Minors (Chase), Joshua Johnson (Casey), Jacob Johnson (Kelsey), Kevin Outen (Tammy) and Kyle Outen.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall of Unity Arp Presbyterian Church (3495 Unity Church Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
