It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Hegler (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Shenandoah, Virginia, who passed away on July 15, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Landon Ward and Dora Frances Funkhouse Ward; and her husband Jimmy "Whitey" Hegler. She is survived by: her children, Sharon H. Rallings (Mark), Samantha Faulkenberry (Lynn Caveny) and Steven Todd Hegler (Holly Miranda); her grandchildren, Eric S. Rallings (Elizabeth), Brittany R. Rowell (Alex), Mitchell R. Faulkenberry (Lindsy), Megan D. Faulkenberry (Austin) and Jace R. Hegler; her great grandchildren, Carmen Rowell, Dylan Rowell, Easton Rowell, Janie Ann Rallings and Josie Elizabeth Rallings; and her siblings, Douglas Ward (Brenda) of Salem, VA, Larry Ward (Cindy) of Roanoke, VA, Jenny W. Ashworth (Ron) of Collinsville, VA, Susie W. Hodges of Wirtz, VA, Linda W. Young (Frank) of Rockymount, VA and Cathy W. Russell of Wirtz, VA.
