She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Eugene Bowers and Jacie Beulah Mahaffey Bowers; her son Audie Merle Newman; and her siblings, Olin Bowers, Wade Bowers, Alton Bowers, Jerry Bowers, Bernard Bowers and Susie Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Newman, Sr. (Cindy) of Lancaster and Marcine Wiggins (Frank) of Gaffney; her sister Betty Taylor of Lancaster; her daughter-in-law Diane Newman of Lancaster; and her grandchildren, Randy Newman, Jr., Melissa Newman, Jennifer Newman, Jessica Newman, Jill Newman, Paula Di Lorenzo, Kenny Parker, Jr. and Zachary Taylor. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
