She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgerton Monroe Readling and Martha Helen Christenbury Readling; and her son Mikel L. Wood. She is survived by: her husband Jimmie David Wood of Lancaster; her children, David L. Wood of Indian Land, Charlotte Hogue (Bob) of Rock Hill, Sherri Craig (Joe) of Indian Land and Sandi Cook (Scott) of Lancaster; her sister Paula Caldwell (Bill) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Charity, Robert, Monica and Becca; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tylor, Jessica, Mary, Kameryn, Ben, Josie and Bam; and her great great grandchildren, Mason and Keirra.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lancaster Funeral Home (709 N White St, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel (709 N White St, Lancaster, SC 29720).
