He is survived by: his parent Marion Collins Porter; his children, Andy Porter (Tiffany) of Charlotte, NC, Mary Margaret Riester (Richard) and Emma Leah Neal; his sisters, Priscilla P. Deaton (Jim) of Lancaster, Martha P. Beasley of Lancaster, Nancy P. Martin (Luther) of Blythewood and Gayle P. McKenzie (Joel) of Sylva, NC; and his grandchildren, Jacob Porter, Bear Porter and Sidney Porter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
