He was predeceased by: his parents, Effel Jack McManus, Sr. and Etta Melton McManus; and his siblings, E. J. McManus, Jr., Steve McManus, John McManus, Mae Doris M. Hinson, Louise M. Bowers, Lillian M. Phillips, Alene M. Catoe and Mary Helen M. Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Voncille McManus; his daughters, Lisa Starnes, Lynn Faulkenberry (Jeff) and Lori Hinkle (Joe); his grandchildren, Josh Starnes (Rachel), Eric Faulkenberry (Tiffany), Avery Hinkle (Anna Grace) and Brady Hinkle; his great grandchildren, Sophia Faulkenberry and Evelyn Faulkenberry; and his siblings, James McManus, Henry McManus, Carl Lee McManus and Dori M. Kullbom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
