She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvern Lewis and Thelma Hamilton Lewis; her former husbands, Oscar Hines and Tommy Thompson; her children, Edward Hines and Sandra Lewis; her son-in-law Joseph Satalino; and her siblings, Dale Lewis, Gerry Lewis, Dean Lewis and Donna Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Oscar Michael Hines (Nancy), Linda Hines Satalino and Monica Pursley (Steven). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
