He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmanuel Ottis Rowell and Etta Belle Funderburk Rowell; and his wife Irene Rowell. He is survived by: his sons, Wendell Ottis Rowell (Susan) of Lancaster and Vernon "Toby" Faulkenberry (Sandra) of Kershaw; his grandchildren, Chris Faulkenberry (Wendy), Angie Faulkenberry and Jonathan Edmonds (Bailey); his great grandchildren, Tyler Faulkenberry, Kasey Faulkenberry, Olivia Faulkenberry West (Ethan), Claire Faulkenberry, Emrick Edmonds, Becker Edmonds, Ellis Edmonds and Jonah Edmonds; and also Wilma Stevens. He is also survived by family members and friends.
