She is survived by: her husband Thelbert Leon Brooks; her children, Sonny Leon Brooks (Sherry) of Jefferson and Pamela Brooks McCorkle (Michael) of Lancaster; her siblings, Mickey Whitaker (Doris) of Lancaster, Leonard Outen (Sandy) of Iron Station, NC and Dianne Hudson of Denver, NC; her grandchildren, Michael McCorkle, Jr. (Brittney), Casey McCorkle (Courtney), Blake McClain and Emma Brooks; and her great grandchildren, Alexi McCorkle, Landon McCorkle, Michael McCorkle and Logan McCorkle.
