It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mina LaFaye Brasington of Lancaster, South Carolina, born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Edward Sistare and Martha Stacks Sistare; her son Timothy Sistare; and her siblings, Marilyn Sistare, Kathy Rivers and James Douglas Sistare.
She is survived by: her brothers, Reggie Sistare (Cathy) of Lancaster, SC and Ricky Edward Sistare of Lancaster, SC; her stepsister Denise Stevens of Lancaster, SC; her nieces and nephews, Michael Stevens (Rhonda), Dennis Sanders, Michelle Laney, Heaven Sanders and Sharay Sanders; her grandchildren, Kelsey Sistare, Chase Sistare, Teegan Sistare and Tyler Paul; and her great grandchild Ryker Paul. She is also survived by numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
