It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merita Clark (Lancaster, South Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Merita was predeceased by: parents, Ivery Broom and Mary Broom. Merita is survived by: children, Betty L. Clark of Lancaster, SC, William L. Clark of Lancaster, SC and Michael Clark of Lancaster, SC; and siblings, Betty Coleman of Largo, MD and Ivery Broom Jr. of Washington, DC. Merita is also survived by ten grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
