It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lee Lathan Adams of Lancaster, South Carolina, born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lathan and Ruby Revels Lathan Kennington; her daughter Sharon Adams Helms; her grandchildren, Sharon Denise Helms, Dennis Calvin Helms, Jr. and Christopher Lee Helms; and her sister Connie Smith.
She is survived by: her husband John Adams; her sons, Bennie Adams (Shirley Brooks Adams) and Timothy Mark Adams; her grandchild Benjie; and her brother Billy Kennington (Gail Kennington) of Lexington, S. C. She is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
