She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Grooms and Nora Grooms; her siblings, Ruth Grooms Jacobs, Beaulah Mae Grooms Taylor, Evelyn Grooms Bolton, Ralph "Buddy" Grooms and Jessie Grooms; and her grandson Nathaniel "Nate" Edward Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Griffin (Kathy), Jeff Griffin (Crystal), Sheila Gagliardi (Lou) and Kimberly Bigham. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
