She was predeceased by: her husband Sanford V. R. Hendryx; her parents, William Monroe Kennington and Connie Adams Kennington; her daughter Deborah Allen; and her brothers, Vernon Kennington and Bobby Kennington.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Hendryx, Sr. (Marlene) of Lancaster and Janet Hendryx Brown (Al) of Lancaster; her siblings, Paul Kennington of Lancaster and Brenda Broughton of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Beth Allen (Tristan), Michael Hendryx, Melani McNeily (Chris), Niki Hickson (Chris), Steven Hendryx, Jr. (Reagan) and Luk Hendryx; her great grandchildren, Landon, Sebastian, Brinley, Ansley, Kynslee, Arwen, Finn and Emmett; her niece Libby Gregory; and her close friends, Gail Hyatt and John Trull. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (1152 Great Falls Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
