He was predeceased by: his parents, Levie Stroud and Bertha Mae Adams Stroud. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cox Stroud of Lancaster; his sons, Eugene Stroud of Lancaster and Barry Stroud (Dee Dee) of Lancaster; his grandson Bryan Knight (Kristy Cauthen); and his great grandchildren, Savannah and Olivia.

Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 1734 Antioch Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
