She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Daniel and Bessie Louise Berry Daniel; her husband Floyd Thomas; her son-in-law Danny Wayne Ramsey; her sister Ruby Lee Ford; and her siblings-in-law, Grays Ford, John Franklin Locke, II, Carolyn Daniel, Vickie Thomas, Nancy Thomas Locke and Grace Thomas Forbis.
She is survived by: her daughter Melba Thomas Ramsey; her grandchildren, Benjamin Thomas, Miracle Thomas Gearwar (Kyle), James Thomas (Ashley), Thomas Ramsey, Deputy Timothy Ramsey, Jessica Thomas, Deputy Andrew Thomas (Kayla) and Derrell Thomas (DeAnna); her brother William "Bill" R. Daniel; and her brother-in-law Harvey Thomas. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
