It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcene Helms Adams (Lancaster, South Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Helms and Willene Helms; her husband Gene Adams; her brothers, Alton, Milton and Danny Max Helms; and her great grandchild Jackson Fulton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Fulton (Joel) of Lancaster and Teresa Blackmon (Ernie) of Lancaster; her friend Alice Truesdale; her grandchildren, Chris Fulton, Michael Fulton (Connie), Stacey Blackmon and Rachael Blackmon; her great grandchildren, Skylar Brown, Mackenzie Fulton, Troy Fulton, Melanie Fulton, William Fulton and Stella Tuttle; and her great great grandchild Charlie Peavy.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Lancaster, 912 W. Meeting St., Lancaster, SC 29720.
