She was predeceased by: her parents, William Andrew Hasty and Bessie Inez Threatt Hasty; her son-in-law Dale Denton (Renee); and her siblings, Forrest "Butch" Carnell Hasty, Jerry Hollis Hasty, Charles William Hasty and Rose Carolyn Hasty.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Brasington; her daughters, Kathy Brasington Williams (Ron), Donna K. Brasington Williams (Jimmy) and Renee B. Denton; her grandchildren, Lauren Savage (Luke), Kimberly Peterson (Josh), Kayla Hancock (Jonathan), Rubylyn Helms (Michael), Jimmy "Trey" Williams, III (Haley) and Elizabeth Montgomery (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Zoe Michelle Savage and Vera Maeve Savage; her grandchildren, Matthew Eason, Trent Eason, Joni Eason, Savannah Hancock, Kit Williams and Emma Gulledge; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Carter Montgomery, Brantley Montgomery and Ally Montgomery.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Antioch Baptist Church (1734 Antioch Church Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
