He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clayton Hollis and Annie Mae Jacobs Hollis; his daughter Patricia Hollis Rollings; and his brothers, J. C. Hollis, Jr. and Harold Hollis.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Roddey Hollis; his son Michael Lloyd Hollis of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Tiffany Gainer and Clay Rollings; and his son-in-law Stewart Jernigan. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
