We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2023, Lana Thompson of Lancaster, South Carolina, born in Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cole Hiltner and Adaline Dickenson; and her brothers, Larry Lilley Jr. and Carl Bradley Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Brewer Thompson; her children, Michelle Kjelland (Jimmy), Shane Thompson (Jennifer) and Ryan Thompson (Jennifer); her siblings, Steven Lilley, Wendy Saddoris and John Kostak; and her grandchildren, Grayson, Jacob, Ashland, Molly, Emily and Micah.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to PEO Chapter U: Glenda McClean, Treasurer, 11011 Fort Washington Road, Fort Washington, MD 20744, Memo "In memory of Lana.". All contributions will go to support higher education grants and scholarships for women.
