She is survived by: her children, Carl Parris, Jr. (Heidi) of Salisbury, NC, Margaret Mathews (Eric) of Fort Lawn and April Young (Roland) of Lancaster; her significant other Kenneth Ross of Lancaster; her sister Betty Tindal of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Carl Parris, III, Angel Young, Marie Young and Wesley Parris; and her great grandchildren, Adaleigh, Zaiden, Maddox, Scarlett and Vada. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
