She was predeceased by: her parents, Reidar Selmer-Olsen and Aasta Selmer-Olsen. She is survived by: her spouse Adrian Joyce; and her children, Mark Joyce (Heather), Monica Waite and Kiersten Meier (Christopher). She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorials be made to a charity of one's choice for Veterans and/or Law Enforcement.
