He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wright and Hattie Elizabeth McManus Wright; his stepson Dale Adams; and his siblings, Donald Wright, Ira Wright, Coleman Wright, Thelma Marsh, Onie Munn and Mary Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Catoe Wright; his children, John Wayne Wright (Debbie) of Lancaster, Ann Strickland (Russell) of Lancaster, Sue Lucente (Jim) of Clover and Linda Roddey (Pat) of Fort Lawn; and his stepdaughters, Linda Barwick (Allen) of Columbia and Joy Whitworth (Jeff) of Oak Island, NC. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.
