It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vaughan Cauthen Sr. (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kelly Cauthen and Deloris Vaughan Cauthen. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Helen Page Cauthen; his children, John Vaughan Cauthen, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Catherine Cauthen Joyce of Van Wyck; his grandsons, Alex Vaughan Tuttle, Michael Casey Joyce and Andrew Cauthen; his great grandchildren, Mark Vaughan Tuttle, Olivia Maria Tuttle and Mira Cauthen; and his brother Henry Jennings Cauthen.
