He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leroy Hudson, Sr. and Bessie Hinson Hudson; and his siblings, Franklin Leroy "Mutt" Hudson, James M. "Doc" Hudson, Vernon "Buck" Hudson, Livicisa Hudson, Nannie Stogner, Betty Rogers, Bessie Carroll and Vivian Cassidy.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Hudson; his children, Nolan Scot Hudson (Cheryl) of Chester, SC, John Leroy Hudson, III (Tracy Parker) of Gaffney, SC, Julie Hudson Craig (Monty) of Lancaster, Linda Hudson Killough of Lancaster and Brenda Gail Hudson of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Amber Forrester, Ryan Killough (Jordan), Justin Craig (Taylor), Brandan Craig, Trevor Hudson (Kelly), Kimber Hudson Tribble (Justin), Peyton Hudson, Taylor Hudson, Regan Hudson and John Leroy "Dru" Hudson, IV; his great grandchildren, Emme Forrester, Brodie, Ryleigh Craig, Bryce and Kinsley Killough; and his sister Monnie Deason of Lancaster.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
