He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellroy Allen and Dorothy Ayers Allen; and his brother Richard Allen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Allen; his brother Robert Allen of Berlin, MD; his sister-in-law Martha Allen of Alexander, VA; and his niece Nancy Ramsey of Alexander, VA.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, and suggest memorial contributions be made to a charity of one's choice.
