He is survived by: his son Joel Scott Hammond (Caylen); his granddaughter Ellie Hammond; the mother of his child Charlene Hammond; his siblings, Phillip Hammond, Charlie Hammond, Melvin "Bubba" Hammond and Becky Marvin (Todd); his nieces and nephews, Anna Hammond, McKenzie Cobb (Seth), Karlie Hammond, Kelsie Ward (Alex), Charles Ray Hammond and Austin Marvin; and his great-niece Jessa Cobb.
