He is survived by: his wife Saundra Elizabeth Sellers Amason; his sons, Joe Amason, III (Cay) of Lancaster and Ron Amason of Amarillo, Texas; his grandchildren, Tim, Sarah, Christopher, Melanie and Amber; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Turner, Releigh, Greyson and Senora.
