With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Sanders Jr. of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Curtis Sanders, Sr. and Lottie Jerri Hunter Sanders; and his siblings, Walter "Gene" Sanders, William "Bunk" Sanders and Brenda Sue Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Sanders; his children, Bobby Joe Sanders and Dana Carole Sanders; his grandchildren, Morgan Small (Cody), Jordan Small and Joey Chase Sanders; his great grandchild Jasmine Small; his nephew Eugene Sanders; his father-in-law Jack Adams; and his brother-in-law Brian Adams. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am Thursday in the church fellowship hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Catawba Baptist Church, 1144 Riverside Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
