Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jody Hartley of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 55, on February 21, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Hartley and Margaret Whitaker Pardue; his father-in-law Gene Hodge; and his brothers, Wayne Hartley and Timmy Hartley.
He is survived by: his daughter Cierra Hartley; the mother of his child Claudia Hartley; his daughter Debbie Hodge; his siblings, Melissa Rushing (Clark), Bo Hartley (Jennifer), BJ Hartley (Alison) and Steve; his sister-in-law Susan Duell; and his nieces and nephews, Steven, Savannah Duell, Rocky Rushing (Nikki), Carly Tucker (Garrett), Garrett Hartley, Karah H. Ward (Zach) and Alyssa Hartley. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; and a large extended family, work family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Zion Church (1665 Zion Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
