He was predeceased by: his parents, James Emmett Wilson, Sr. and Mary Lou Osborne Wilson; his son Corporal James "Jamie" Everett Wilson; and his sisters, Gail Dixon and Kathy Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Trudy Wilson; his sisters, Emmie Lewis and Wanda Capps (Charles); and his daughter-in-law Kelly George (Ralph). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lancaster Memorial Park (1389 Memorial Park Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720). Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (6924 Wateree Rd, Great Falls, SC 29055).
