He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin Self and Loraine Bowers Self; and his brothers, Robert Kenneth Self and Gary Eugene Self. He is survived by: his wife Joan R. Self of Lancaster; his children, Michael Paul Self of Myrtle Beach, Jimmy Lee Self (Maleaha) of Rock Hill and Tracy Baker (Sue) of Rock Hill; and his siblings, William Franklin Self of Great Falls and Peggy Elaine Woolwine of Cornelius, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
