He was predeceased by: his parents, Loney Steen Short and Lester Bart Short. He is survived by: his daughter Debbie S. Stacks (Dennis); his grandchildren, William "Bo" Stacks (Kim), Michael Green, Daniel McCain and Heather McCain; and his great grandchildren, Madison Green, Marisa Green, Kristen Wallace (Kolton), Kaleb Stacks, Willow McCain, Asher McCain and Aspyn McCain.
