It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Raymond Clifton (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Ann Trawick Clifton; and his children, John David and Margie Diane Dominick. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Clifton (Jamie) of Gallatin, Tenn. and Rachel Lynn Clifton of Chapin; his siblings, Cecil Clifton (Frances), Albert Clifton (Mary Ann) and Betty Jean Outlaw of Roanoke; and his sister-in-law Faye McManus Clifton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
