He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Odell Moss and Olivia Hood Bennett Moss; his granddaughter Rachel Dianne Moss; and his siblings, Henry Moss, Donald Moss and Margaret Blanton.
He is survived by: his children, Heyward Moss, Jr. (Angela) of Great Falls, Debra Southerland (Harold) of Holden Beach, NC, Janice Moss of Lancaster and Vicki Stanley (Kevin) of Ridgeway; his siblings, William "Bill" Moss (Gail) of York, Betty Papesh (Ron) of Pinehurt and Joyce Moss of Indian Land; his grandchildren, Chad, Justin, Bradley, Clayton, Joshua, Benjamin, Jason, Jordan, Jaxon, Janson, Payton, Samantha and Madison; and his great grandchildren, Cambri, Taylin, Maddox, Presley, Deacon, Emma, Aubrey, Rylan and Asher.
