He was predeceased by: his former wife Joan Rima; his parents, Hilton Rima and Cecilia Rima; and his siblings, Cecilia Jean, Mary, Carl and James.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his sisters, Verna Roehm and JoDell George (Richard); and his children, Deborah (John), Pamela (Rusty), Susan (Bryant), Katherine (Tim), Sherry (Richard), Wendy (Bobby), Harvey Jr. (Karen), Robert (Hind) and Scott. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.
