Grady Snipes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grady Snipes (Lancaster, South Carolina), who passed away on December 14, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Alton Snipes and Sadie Dunn Snipes; his siblings, Lillian Snipes Seifarth, Lawrence Snipes, William Jackson "Jack" Snipes, Sr. and Eugene "Gene" Snipes; his daughter Cindy Snipes Whitaker; and his grandson Cory James Whitaker.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Pitmon Snipes; his children, Grady "Tod" Snipes (Kathy), Travis Alton Snipes (Allison), Regina Snipes Ledford (Donnie) of Lancaster and Christie Snipes Anderson (Scott) of Hampton, VA; his grandchildren, Robyn Whitaker Bayne, Ronald Threatt, Josh Snipes, David "Dave" Whitaker, Dan Snipes, Tiffani McCowan, Morgan Ledford, Ella Grace Anderson, Jesse Anderson, Alton Snipes and Sloan Snipes; his great grandchildren, Alyvia Bayne, Cynthia Bayne, Ashlyn Snipes, Braylie Snipes, Mackenzie Snipes, Ryder Snipes, Gunnar Snipes, Hunter Snipes and Savannah Snipes; and his nephew Richard Snipes.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society or Hospice of South Carolina.
