It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Hovis Ferguson (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Belmont, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hovis and Avanelle Bumgardner Hovis; and her husband Herb Ferguson. She is survived by: her children, Jim Ferguson (Tara) of Indian Land, Jeanna Johnson (Jeff) of Wallace, N. C. and Kyle Ferguson of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Yvette Dotson, Kristin Lowry, Bri Inklebarger, Hunter Ferguson, Clay Johnson, Lindsi Jones, Brad Ferguson and Jae Ferguson; her great grandchildren, Wesley Dotson, Ty Lowry, Faith Longmire, Linden Inklebarger, Miles Inklebarger, Aidan Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Presley Johnson, Zelan Jones, Rachel Jones and Nolan Ferguson; and her great great grandchildren, Laelynn Longmire and Brylon Longmire. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
