She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gillespie and Beulah Childress Gillespie. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Purdy Macy (Sammy) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Shawn Macy (Lora) and Winki Poynor (Lance); her great grandchildren, Darren Macy (Ashlyn), Trey Macy, Cade Poynor and Chloe Poynor; and her great great grandchild Roland Macy.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30 Wednesday evening, July 3, 2019 at Burgess Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Carolina, 311 N. Main Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.
