We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, at the age of 94, George Bruhns (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in New London, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid George farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For George is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bruhns and Beatrice Bruhns of Old Lyme, CT; his sister Marion Wells of Waterford, CT; and his wife Eleonore of Indian Land, SC.. He is survived by: his pet Buddy; his sister Barbara Banks of Grand Isle, VT; his sister-in-law Edelgard Edgeland of Indian Land, SC; and his children, Maria Scagliola (David) of The Villages, FL, George Bruhns (Robin Capuano) of Avon, CT, Rita Cremisi (David) of The Villages, FL and Barry Bruhns (Beverly) of Monroe, NC.
