He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Hobson Sears and Winona Baker Sears. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Knight Sears; his daughters, Belinda Sears Carter (Jeff) of Kaufman and Terry Sears Chandler (Chuck) of Lancaster; his sisters, Janet Deese of Lancaster and Patricia "Pat" Knight (Gary) of Memphis, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Miranda Langley (Timothy) of Lancaster and Morgan Chandler of Lancaster; and his great grandchildren, Luke Langley and Bella Richi.
