With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Roland Ghent (Lancaster, South Carolina), who passed away on August 22, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ghent and Annie Ruth Shoemake Ghent; his wife Linda Ghent; his grandparents, Ervin, Queen Shoemake, Roland and Hattie Ghent; his sister Anne Ghent Robinson; and his nephews, Bryan Taylor and Jody House.
He is survived by: his siblings, John Douglas "Doug" Ghent (Gloria), Robert J. Ghent "Bob" (Joy), Crawford Lynn Ghent (Valorie), Edward Lee Ghent (Kim), Fran Ghent Walters (Modie), Louise Ghent Wuori (Randy), Debbie Ghent House (Joe), Kathy Ghent Snipes (Tod) and Susan Ghent Taylor (Mitchell); and his cousins, Harriett Barton Dixon of Columbia, SC and Diane Barton Strickler of Greenville, SC.. He is also survived by forty-five nieces and nephews.
