She was predeceased by: her father Bryant Manning Blakely; her husband Ray Johnson; her great grandchild Noland Jase Faile; her son-in-law Carey Dry; her mother Edwina Blakely; and her siblings, Vander Blakely, Roger Blakely, Ernestine Cannon and Nora Young.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Johnson (Kathy) of Lancaster, Susan Dry of Blythewood and Robbie Young (Willard) of Lake Wateree; her grandchildren, Denise Reid (Darrell), Marty Johnson (Karen), Dana Hinson (Mickey), Magan Faile (Chase), Ryan Young (Meredith) and Tyler Young (Caitie); her great grandchildren, Seth, Nathan, Blake, Sydney, Alli, Landon, Reid, Larson, Rylee, Kennedy, Grayson and Tate; and her sister Frances Byrdic of Andrews. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sherwood Baptist Church (1030 State Rd S-29-501, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the Lancaster Memorial Park (1389 Memorial Park Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
