She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Bowen and Lillie Mae Pate Bowen; and her siblings, Frankie Bowen, Willis McKenzie and Shirley Pate.
She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Bowen (Pam) of Clemmons, NC, Annie Shimel (Richard) of Wallace, SC, Lillie Ransom (Grady) of Maxton, NC, Brenda Knight of Lexington, SC, Becky Bowen Revell of Monroe, NC, Nancy Brown (Joseph) of Lancaster, SC and Betty Williams (Charles) of McColl, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
